Using examples and case studies, participants will learn a set of quality tools appropriate for managing and planning in a complex setting. This workshop will address when and how to use the following quality tools. Assessment Tools: - Maturity Grids - Baldrige Criteria Brainstorming Tools: - Brainstorming Techniques - Affinity Diagramming Consensus Gathering Tools: - Consensograms - Polling methods - Delphi Voting Evaluation Matrices: - T-Charts - Johari Windows - Goal Deployment Matrices Planning Tools: - Interrelational Digraphing - Quality Improvement Process (QIP) - Flow Charting Participants will be taken through these tools progressively, basically as listed, with practice sessions and group exercises. Specific attention will be paid to Continuous Improvement Planning and Baldrige-Based Planning, including ways to align and integrate the two.
